Oh here's an interesting note:
I hadn't mentioned it on my blog before, but back in 2001, Jim Rogers, who is my mother's second husband was hired to use his energy expertise to asses the energy usage of a Ticonderoga class vessel. And as luck would have it - it was the Princeton that he surveyed.
I was just now checking Google to see if my blog was ranking at all because of my use of "CG-59".
So this pdf cropped up in the search. Jim's photos are on pages 29, 60, 68, 72, and 75. There is also a good biography of Jim beginning on page 121. Note for example that the address of One Blacksmith Road is given in the report. There are also photographs of Jim and his team from the Rocky Mountain Institute on the aft missile deck.
It just goes to show what a small world we all live in, and how often we can actually come across each other.
